Accessibility statement
Last updated:
We want everyone to be able to use the Wabmate website with ease, including people with disabilities.
This statement is also available in Hebrew: הצהרת נגישות. For Israeli legal purposes, the Hebrew version applies.
Standard
The site is built to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA as well.
Accessibility is built into the site’s code. We don’t rely on an overlay widget.
What we’ve done
- Full keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page.
- Text and background colours that meet contrast requirements.
- Alt text for images. Decorative images and animation are hidden from screen readers.
- Labels for every form field, and clear error messages.
- Full Hebrew and right-to-left support.
- A logical heading structure and semantic HTML.
- The homepage animation doesn’t load when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text can be resized to 200% without losing content or functions.
- Layouts that work on phones, tablets and desktops.
Known limitations
- Product screenshots are in English until the Hebrew dashboard launches. Each one has a text description.
- Connecting WhatsApp uses Meta’s official signup, which we don’t control.
